The Marinfloc EBBWCS is superior and totally different especially in comparison to the conventional simple filter type of OWS. With a Marinfloc EBBWCS in operation there is NO need for the Chief Engineer to fear pollution incidents that can result in serious consequences, like detention of ship, legal action against C/E and heavy fines for operator/shipowner.
The main feature is that there is NO need to change/clean the filter frequently (no change at all) thanks to the fantastic emulsion breaking stage and therefore the effluent bilge water will be constantly clean at 1-2 ppm.
In addition, Marinfloc can provide their own in-house designed "White Box System", which is a fail-safe system that records the actual performance of the existing oily water separator onboard. This can be valuable in case of a port state control or unjustified claim etc.
"With Marinfloc's equipment onboard, there is no need to worry".
